          Climate R|O

          This project, funded by the Environmental Protection Agency, is exploring how Irish businesses need to adapt to climate risks (R) and opportunities (O) in order to be resilient for the future. It's focusing on 7 sectors that are important to Ireland's economy.

          5 core business sectors:

          • Retail
          • Food & Beverage Manufacturing
          • Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing
          • Computer & Electronics Manufacturing
          • Hospitality & Tourism

          2 enabling sectors:

          • Financial Services
          • Energy

          Sector Workshop Dates

          • Computer & Electronics Manufacturing: Thursday 18 February 2021. Register here.
          • Retail: Tuesday 23 February 2021. Register here.
          • Hospitality & Tourism: Wednesday 24 February 2021. Register here.
          • Food & Beverage Manufacturing: Tuesday 02 March 2021. Register here.
          • Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals manufacturing: date TBC.

          Overall Project Schedule

          • April - August 2020: desk research to develop sector climate adaptation profiles
          • September - December 2020: interviews with senior business leaders and trade bodies
          • February 2021: sector workshops to validate findings with industry & policymakers
          • March - May 2021: production of final technical report and practical sector workbooks
